Here’s what officials had to say about the Lake Murray water levels.
Autumn is here and winter is just around the corner, which means you may know that every winter Lake Murray changes their water levels. I got on the phone with them recently, and I’m happy to report that there will be a normal drawdown to about 354 to 355 feet above sea level. It’s currently at about 357.5 feet above sea level. They plan to bring the water level back up in February 2022.
So this month you may see the water level decrease a little, and that’s important if you own a boat or home on the lake. If you’re considering buying a home there, you need a real estate agent who knows about this topic and why you need to be aware of it. We at the Downing Group are the Lake Murray experts and can help you make decisions and provide information, whether you already live on the lake or not.
If you have any other questions about Lake Murray real estate or what’s happening with the lake itself, feel free to call or direct message us on our Facebook page. We would be glad to help you.
